Saunders developed High White in response to requests from professional artists searching for a whiter shade of watercolour paper. Because of it’s whiter base colour, pigments appear more vivid and sparkling, giving paintings a fresher more contemporary look. Contrast between lighter and darker areas in your paintings are enhanced.
Saunders Waterford Watercolour Blocks offer both convenience and the confidence of a perfect working surface for your watercolour. Saunders Waterford is an exquisite watercolour paper, traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine. Its attractive surface is created using natural woollen felts that give it a distinctive random texture. The surface is sized in gelatine making it strong and resilient to scrubbing, and other rough treatments.
