Endorsed by the Oil Pastel Association of America (OPA), the Holbein Artist
Quality Oil Pastel is without equal world-wide. Made by the Buncho Corporation
under contract for Holbein, the pastels are the culmination of over 50 years
of research, development and manufacturing expertise in the oil pastel field.
The manufacturing process is entirely automated. Each stick offers uniformity
of color distribution and they handle evenly and clearly without stickiness.
Once down, they provide excellent surface stability. Because of the wax
content highly refined mineral oil, they will never harden completely. Click

pigmented, with a buttery soft consistency that gives them the
same fluidity, subtlety, and durability of traditional oil colors.

beeswax as a binding agent, the light-resistant pigments display their

material. The natural transparency of the wax and the lack of
additives result in a high degree of opacity like that of watercolours. |
