| GOLDEN White and Black Gessos
are ready-to-use liquid grounds formulated for the use of acrylics on
any commonly used painting surface. They are flexible and can be applied
in thin layers to conform to a variey to textured surfaces without
cracking. For oil painting over acrylic gesso, it is recommended that at
least three layers of gesso be applied. GOLDEN Gesso can be mixed with
GOLDEN Acrylics to produce a range of colored grounds.

GOLDEN Sandable Hard Gesso
is formulated with 100% acrylic polymer emulsion and can be sanded to
provide surfaces that are smoother and more even than those created
using regular gesso. |
| Matisse Gesso
 
Derivan Gesso is a great primer for canvas, board or even paper.
The strong white ground gives an excellent tooth for easy paint
manipulation.
Being a water-based product, Derivan Gesso can be thinned down with
water if desired. If working on canvas, Derivan Gesso will tighten the
canvas when dry giving a taut ground on which to paint.
Derivan Gesso can be used to paint over old acrylic works to give the
artist a like new surface to paint on. If more than one coat is desired,
then it is advisable to sand lightly between coats to obtain a smooth
finish. |
MM26 Transparent Gesso
is similar to MM10 Gesso and MM25 Black Gesso only without
pigmentation; therefore, giving a transparent (although not altogether
clear) flexible primer for canvas, board or even paper with an excellent
tooth for easy paint manipulation. If working on canvas, Matisse MM26
Transparent Gesso will tighten the canvas, making a firmer ground to
paint on. |
New masters - 990 Gesso White
a universal white lightfast primer for carriers such as canvas, cotton,
paper, stone, etc.
can be diluted with a maximum of 20% water.
can be applied in multiple layers, with 3 to 4 hours drying time between
the layers.
suitable as primer for acrylics, oils, watercolours and egg tempera.
can be mixed with all New Masters Classic Acrylics colours.
