Engraving Block - End Grain Maple

Small 'typehigh' pieces of American maple bonded

together to form a block. One surface is highly polished

with the back machined parallel. The surface can be

machined off in a sanding machine by a wood furniture

manufacturer for re-use and the block may be used up

to 20 times, depending on the depth of the engraving.

Engraving Block - End Grain Birch
Harder than maple, these end-grain blocks are more
expensive, but not as costly as boxwood, which is
currently difficult to source.

Japanese Ash Plywood Plates

These premium 4mm quality plates may be cut from

any direction without splintering. Fine-grained ash cuts

smoothly, leaving a sharp line and excellent potential

cross-hatching areas.
